A lot of people always ask me, "What does PLUR mean?"
Well it*s pritty simple rilly, it*s 4 words, each with a deep meaning. As a KaNDiE KiD, I try ta live by PLUR
P = peace. Even tho ya fight with people, try and keep peace. Don*t look for fights but if someone is messing with you, stick up for yourself. At a rave this means don*t fight and be peaceful.
L = love. All ya need is love! Ravers LOVE! It*s one thing I*m good at doing, I love all my friends and I always show it. At a rave this means love everyone, and show it! Show some affection towards yer fellow ravers.
U = unity. Ravers untie together at raves, friends always untie together. When someone says something or does something towards another friend, you unite with them and stand up for them. When people bash ravers and say mean things about them, I unite with fellow ravers and show people raving isn*t all the bullshit people seem to think it is!
R = respect. Show respect. At a rave, especially. Don*t dis someone you don*t know, it*s not respectful and you don*t know if you are hurting their feelings or not. Show respect and people will give you respect back and won*t step all over you.
I don*t always show respect and love everyone, but I do try. People give ravers a bad rep for drug use, but they don*t understand that sometimes the happiest, kindest, funniest people at a rave are the sober ones! Ravers rilly go through a lot of shit coz of rumors, but when ya rilly get to know a raver, ya get to understand they*re prolly the nicest people....and PLUR has gotta be the best word or 4 words, as long as people live by it!
